SEMMELWEIS UNIVERSITY

Located in Budapest, Semmelweis University is one of the top medical schools for pursuing MBBS in the country. The entrance test is conducted multiple times once or twice a week from April to July every year. The online exam has multiple-choice questions in Medical Biology, Medical Chemistry, Biomedical English, and General English. Each topic consists of 20 questions.

UNIVERSITY OF DEBRECEN

Another reputed institution to study medicine in Hungary is the University of Debrecen in Debrecen. It offers a medicine programme in English, making it an ideal destination for international students. The entrance exam is a written test with multiple-choice questions, definitions, calculations, etc. While Biology is compulsory for all, candidates can choose Chemistry or Physics for the test. Each written test is of 50 minutes. There is also an oral exam in Biology and Physics or Chemistry to qualify for MBBS.

UNIVERSITY OF PÉCS

The University of Pécs has a glorious history as it served as an active hospital during World War 1. The university conducts an entrance test only once a year in the mid of February, for which applications open in January. The test is conducted online from home and has three sections to be completed in three hours. These include thinking skills (32 questions - 60 minutes), scientific knowledge and application (27 questions 30 minutes), and a writing task ( 1 question- 30 minutes).

MEDICAL UNIVERSITY OF SZEGED

Located in Szeged, the Medical University of Szeged is an acclaimed research university offering high-quality education in the fields of Advanced Biology and Biomedical Sciences. The entrance exam has both written and oral evaluations in Biology, Chemistry (Organic, Inorganic, and Biochemistry), and English. It is conducted online, and students can use a calculator and Periodic table. The written test is for 80 minutes. and the oral test for 20 minutes through Zoom.
