BEING AN EXTERNAL AUDITOR IN THE FIELD OF LAW AS AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT IN THE US

An external auditor may be one of those jobs you’ve never heard of before. 

An external auditor looks at a business’s finances and offers a professional report, which includes recommendations and performance evaluations. It is vastly like being an accountant, but unlike them, you won’t be solely looking at the finances, but at all the other parts of the business together.

This is because the external audit is divided into two parts: the financial kind and non-financial kind. Either way, you'll be responsible for providing solutions to solve certain issues in a company.

Some of the tasks you can expect as an external auditor are attending meetings, examining the business and its accounts, communicating the improvements of different aspects of the business to clients, and writing up final reports.

Graduate Trainee To become an external auditor, you'll need a bachelor’s in a relevant subject. This can be in law, but most places will accept a degree in many other subjects too. Many places also expect you to have a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.$44,000
