The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) conducts a national-Level entrance exam for candidates seeking admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Design & Fashion Technology. Applicants who clear the NIFT 2024 exam can get admission in the following courses in one of the institute’s campuses:
Applicants will have to qualify exams like the General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT) to complete the admission process.
NIFT 2024 will be conducted online in both English and Hindi. The test will have Multiple-Choice Questions, with 100 questions for B.Des and 120 questions for M.Des. Students need to solve the test in two hours. The sections in the paper include-

B. Design courses- Must have passed Class 12 from any recognised board or National Open School with a minimum of five subjects/ B.F. Tech courses- Must have passed Class 12 from any recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects/ M. Des/ M.FTech/ MFM courses- Must have a bachelor’s degree (any discipline) from a recognised university/ institute
Candidates appearing for the NIFT 2024 exam can prepare for the test by solving the practice tests and papers of the previous years.

Candidates will have to fill out their personal details and upload documents, a passport-size photograph, and a signature to complete the application process.
